Restyling work by Tank.

In February, Mack Breweries rebranded their whole production line, and three months later approached Tank agency for the packaging of the new brand of beer – Mack Tradisjon.

The brief: The customer wanted a packaging for a series of traditional, high quality beers. The packaging had to reflect the history, culture and pride that was put into the brewing process.

Solution: Mack Tradisjon is a recognizable series that differs from the ordinary supermarket beer. The design has, as the beer itself, a touch of history and distinction that appeals to serious consumers, beer connoisseurs. The bottle label gives space and attention to the colour and quality of the content inside.

The label consists of three parts: top, main and bottom.

top-label

Top label is simle and good. Black & gold and red & gold combos are excellent example of classical styling. Label resembles shield of royal family and that was the main concept.

main-label

Main label is solid gold. One color with transparent regions makes this label simple and stylish. Traditionally crafted with new materials.

bottom-label

Addition of bottom label is a throw back to wine industry. Completing the set of black, red and gold. Well placed typography adds finese.

Overall design is excellent. Skillfuly crafted and withing the basic rules of design while maximizing the outcome. Label is in three pieces, somewhat deviates from the classic one or two pices but does it with style.

Lovely piece of work.
